Intro

From a small club of 10 dedicated Dynamics F&O heroes, they have grown into a serious player on the international stage called Dycotrade. This ERP provider of solutions for Commodity Trade Companies has grown by 800% in recent years. They offer specialized solutions for a dynamic business, and given the significant impact of this solution, you will be fully trained to become a true commodity specialist as a Managing Consultant, alongside additional training in soft skills such as leadership, communication, and group dynamics. Note: for this role, we prefer a candidate with F&O experience; however, if you have knowledge of relevant markets or a track record in another ERP system, we are certainly open for your application.

Jouw werkgever

As a commodity ERP (Dynamics F&O) provider, Dycotrade has created a solution based on three functionalities: Trade, Finance, and Logistics, which mitigate risks in the fast-paced world of listed bulk products, or Commodities. We are talking about a proprietary specialized solution that seamlessly integrates with an existing F&O system of the client in question or, in some cases, an F&O system that still needs to be implemented. This means that Dycotrade implements both their CTRM software and F&O solutions, in that order.

How Does the Market Work? What is the Added Value? Constantly changing currency values, weather patterns, and global economic changes increasingly impact the prices of food commodities and the ability to trade, ship, and finance products. This unique Dycotrade CTRM (Commodity Trading Risk Management) software system is specifically built for the market and provides the customer with more certainty by offering the right insights through, for example, real-time dashboards. By providing one solution for sourcing, selling, processing, shipping, and handling financial transactions related to the entire supply chain, this agile solution reduces risks and increases profits – one of the reasons why this solution performs so well.

Jouw rol

Management itself is primarily expected to coach and optimize the approximately 10 functional consultants (from junior to senior level) in your new team. You report to an experienced manager who is ultimately responsible for all consultants, including you, but because Dycotrade continues to grow and they want to provide a clear point of contact with strong people management skills, a new role has been created: Managing Consultant.

Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for coaching and progress discussions with the team.
  • HR tasks (execution and documentation) of the consultants.
  • You like to contribute ideas to improve training, team dynamics, and overall results.
  • You are involved in hiring processes; you have people skills and are curious.
  • In addition to management, you also act as a senior consultant at the client (billability 50-70% depending on workload).
  • Your advice and working method are therefore at a senior level.

Doorgroeimogelijkheden

Within this role, you can grow in seniority and responsibilities. You do not need to be a Lead Consultant or anything like that to start in this role. We also take the right drive & potential into account in the selection. If you have the experience, however, you can still make strides. There can always be improvements, you work with a new team full of experienced individuals and get space to think along. Additionally, there is a strong onboarding/training platform where you can train hard and soft skills at your own pace. As you grow, you will also have more impact with your experience and qualities on your team consultants, the organization, and the solution. Dycotrade is not a company afraid of growth, as history has clearly shown. And given that Dycotrade is as good as its people, this market share says a lot about the drive and vision of these teams. The client portfolio continues to grow, and with your input, the expectations are high 😉

Additionally, Dycotrade is currently undergoing a transition from a VAR to an ISV. This will not happen within 2 weeks, but the transition has started. What this means for the consultants is that implementations will largely be done by partners and you as a consultant will apply your expertise to specific queries (from a partner, not an end user). You will thus work more specialized and think about matters such as product development, sales/proposition, and overall distribution of the solution.

Wat wordt er gevraagd

  • Advising the client as a senior advisor; demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on ERP F&O, Unit4, SAP, or Oracle (or another relevant ERP system)
  • Experience in or insight into maintaining a healthy group dynamic.
  • Ability to provide 1-on-1 coaching.
  • Affinity with the market: trade, logistics, finance, and/or commodity (if you don't have experience, you will learn 😊).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • HBO working/thinking level.
  • You speak fluent English (Dutch is a plus).
